Mark Benson is Managing Director and Director of Equity Research at Wedbush Securities.
Prior to coming to Wedbush, Mark was a senior equity analyst and head of real estate and leisure securities research at Credit Suisse First Boston and Jefferies and Co. Mark joined Wedbush in the institutional sales department, becoming one of the leading producers prior to his appointment as Director of Equity Research. His prior experience includes five years in investment management, most notably at Brierley Investments, Ltd, and he was also the CFO of a venture capital funded software company.

Mr. Sutherland is a Managing Director of Equity Research with Wedbush Morgan Securities' Technology Research Group, and currently focuses on Telecommunications Software & Services. He has also helped in the overall growth and strategy of the Telecommunications and Technology Research Groups. His research focuses on companies providing software and services that enable enhanced services such as BSS, OSS, messaging, wireless data, and interoperability for service providers. More recently, Mr. Sutherland has overseen the expansion of research coverage to Wireless Equipment.
Prior to joining Wedbush, Mr. Sutherland worked at George D. Bjurman and Associates, an investment management firm, where he assumed the key roles of Senior Research Analyst and IT Director. Mr. Sutherland also held positions at John Hancock Financial and Wells Fargo. Mr. Sutherland brings over 19 years of experience to the finance industry, as well as 2 years of hands-on technology experience.
In 2004, Mr. Sutherland was recognized as the Third Best Stock Picker in North America among over 3,200 analysts in 2003 according to StarMine and highlighted in Forbes and Buyside. Mr. White joined Wedbush Securities in May 2007, assuming coverage of the space in October of that year. Before joining Wedbush Securities, Mr. White followed the consumer electronics and toy industries as a Research Associate at Citigroup covering Hardline Retail. He has also held positions with Salomon Brothers, the Boston Consulting Group and Harrah's Entertainment.
Throughout 2009, Mr. White has ranked highly in StarMine for earnings estimate accuracy, and currently earns one of the highest possible scores for performance during the trailing twelve-month period. Gabriella Santaniello brings more than 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. Before joining Wedbush Securities, she was an independent consultant on brand, distribution and wholesale sales strategy specializing in department store and specialty chain retailers.
As a Gerson Lehrman Group Councils Member Scholar, she provided consultative advice to Wall Street analysts about the retail/apparel industry regarding; industry insight, consumer buying trends and attitudes, and product assortment and promotional initiatives. In addition, Gabriella consulted for !iT Jeans about department store strategy, distribution and flagship store development. She was also a co-owner of Linear Fashion, a mens denim line, where she managed sourcing, costing and merchandising.
A Fashion Industry veteran, Gabriella has worked for high profile, global brands such as Ralph Lauren Childrenswear, Nautica Enterprises, XOXO Jeans, Mossimo and Natori. She managed wholesale sales at Ralph Lauren Childrenswear for the Western Region (Macy's West and Northwest) and the Pacific Rim (Duty Free Shops). Her responsibilities ranged from managing and building brand integrity through financial planning to managing a team of merchandise coordinators to ensure performance at retail.
At Nautica Enterprises, Gabriella was an integral part in the re-launch of the women's division of Nautica Jeans Company where she managed major department store strategy and distribution and was responsible for the line being launched in influential specialty chains. She also worked as a Sales Representative for XOXO Jeans, the women's division of Mossimo, and Natori.
Gabriella received an M.B.A from the Anderson School of Management at U.C.L.A. as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Italian from Georgetown University.
