Job Description:
Our Equities Dept. is seeking candidates who have an interest in marketing and enjoy a fast-paced, exciting environment. Responsibilities include: provide primary administrative and clerical support to the department; research and book extensive meetings, special events and travel arrangements; compose, edit and distribute memos, letter and reports; maintain and update calendars, schedules, client and contact database information; prepare check requests, process invoices and expense reports for payment; maintain department files and documents, handle confidential information with tact and discretion; assist with the planning and execution of 4 yearly conferences; assist with the planning and execution of analyst and management marketing events; act as an information resource, liaison and problem-solver to both internal and external contacts; perform other duties and work on special projects as required.
Job Qualification:
- BA/BS in business, marketing or communication;
- 1-2 years of sales/marketing administration/coordinator experience;
- Corporate sales, marketing and financial services experience desirable;
- Extremely strong organizational, time management and project management skills;
- Strategic thinker with creative and effective problem solving skills;
- Solid verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively and across multiple departments and levels as well as with external resources;
- Extremely strong skills and proficiency in MS Office software
- Working knowledge of client database management software preferred
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
