Alkesh Shah is a Senior Advisor to Wedbush Securities’ Investment Banking team, bringing deep expertise across technology, digital assets, artificial intelligence, and the emerging Space Economy. Over the course of his career, he has built a reputation for translating complex, fast-moving sectors into actionable insight, earning recognition from The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street,” Institutional Investor, Reuters, First Call, and Greenwich Associates for his sector leadership and stock selection. 

Alkesh is also the Founder and CEO of Layered Insight Partners, a strategic advisory firm, and serves on the Advisory Board of Join Digital and as an advisor to Covalis Capital LLP and Chainlink Labs. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Software & AI Equity Research at Bank of America, where he also served as Head of Crypto and Global Digital Assets Strategy and led the firm’s digital and mobile strategy within the Data and Innovation Group. Before that, he was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he led the global Communications Technology research team to an Institutional Investor #1 ranking.
