Sameer Karim

Managing Director, Technology Investment Banking

Sameer is a Managing Director in the Technology Investment Banking Group at Wedbush Securities in San Francisco. He brings over 20 years of tech-related experience advising clients on M&A, capital raises, and strategic initiatives such as acquihires. 

Before joining Wedbush, Sameer worked in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Citi, where he gained extensive experience executing complex financial transactions. Earlier in his career, Sameer worked in engineering roles at Cisco and Forcepoint (formerly Websense), providing him with a strong foundation in technology and innovation. 

Sameer earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Originally from Los Angeles, he has lived in the Bay Area for nearly 20 years.
