Joanne Welch Galligan

Biography

Joanne Galligan serves as Managing Director, Investments in the Lake Oswego office of Wedbush, where she is dedicated to guiding clients toward pursuing long-term financial goals through thoughtful planning and personalized strategies. Financial planning is a core part of Joanne’s practice, helping clients manage their wealth and build a holistic life plan. Joanne takes pride in helping individuals and families make informed decisions that align with their values and aspirations.

Before joining Wedbush, Joanne was with A.G. Edwards & Sons, later acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors, where she honed her experience as a financial advisor. She began her career as a commodity broker, managing lumber hedging programs for mills and wholesalers, which laid the foundation for her disciplined, analytical approach to investment management.

Joanne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance with a minor in French and is fluent in the language, having studied abroad in Bordeaux, France. She and her husband, Jeff, live in Lake Oswego and share four boys. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys spending time with her family and staying active in her community.
