Jon Underkofler

Biography

Jon Underkofler is a Senior Vice President and Market Manager at Wedbush Securities, where he focuses on developing comprehensive, integrated wealth management strategies based on a deep understanding of his clients’ unique perspectives and values. With almost 30 years in finance, Jon is well-versed in banking, investment management, and financial planning, and maintains a steadfast commitment to guiding his clients through complexity and uncertainty within their financial endeavors.

In his role as the Market Manager overseeing the Central-West Region, Jon brings extensive experience from his previous roles at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, BNY Wealth, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo. Jon provides comprehensive wealth management to entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and families while having experience advising endowments and foundations. He specializes in complex M&A transactions as a certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®), is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®), and also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) certification.

Underkofler attended Arizona State University studying economics and then went on to further his education at Northwestern University, earning a master’s degree in finance. As an avid supporter of several non-profits across metropolitan Denver, Jon is passionate about family and community. He lives in Highlands Ranch Colorado with his wife and children, where they enjoy boating, skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
