Kristin Rathjen
Financial Advisor
Biography
Helping clients work toward reaching their financial goals is at the center of Kristi’s business. She encourages each client to take ownership of their financial futures, and acts as a financial coach along their way to working toward success. Kristi takes a holistic approach and works alongside her clients’ other advisors in order to always help prepare a fitting comprehensive plan to work toward meeting each individual’s specific needs and wishes.
Having grown up around financial services, Kristi naturally gravitated toward a career in the field. Before her successful track record of 20 years with Wedbush, Kristi received a degree in accounting and subsequently spent time as a Certified Public Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She soon realized that her true passion was in investing, and eventually made the move to become a financial advisor. Her background and designations of Certified Public Accountant and Personal Financial Specialist equip her with the special tools to pull together all of the client’s financial positions, goals, and needs to formulate a plan to make it all happen.
Kristi received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Bob Jones University. Originally from Massachusetts, Kristi has called Arizona home for the past 33 years and counting. She is passionate about educating the younger generations on sound financial practices, and works with several high schools and their students. She also works with a variety of missionaries located around the world, and devotes time to help churches and related ministries set up accounts to accept charitable gifts and endowments. Kristi is married to her husband of 29 years, David, and has a daughter, Maya, and son, Ethan. Her family has hosted foreign exchange students for the last 10 years, which is something they find great fulfillment in doing. When not working with her clients, Kristi enjoys reading, designing and handmaking greeting cards, camping, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
