Matthew Parker is Senior Vice President of Investments and serves clients across the greater Walnut Creek and Bay Area region from Wedbush's Santa Rosa office. Known for a differentiated, engineering-style approach to wealth management, he designs financial strategies tailored to the complex, innovation-driven lives of his clients — rather than relying on generic portfolios. Combining analytical rigor with strategic foresight, he builds customized scenarios that reflect real-world variables and long-term goals.

Before joining Wedbush, Matthew held advisory roles at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Solutions Advisor, at VALIC as a Financial Advisor, and at Waddell & Reed, building a strong foundation in client-centered planning and portfolio strategy. He partners closely with technology professionals navigating RSUs and stock options, business owners preparing for growth or exit, and high net worth individuals seeking sophisticated, multi-generational planning solutions.

Outside of his advisory work, Matthew mentors emerging tech entrepreneurs through local accelerator programs. Committed to expanding access to financial knowledge and independence, volunteers teaching financial literacy to underrepresented communities. An outdoor enthusiast, he spends his free time hiking in the Sierra Nevada, backpacking remote areas, and fly-fishing.
