Steve Schwary

Biography

Steve Schwary serves as Financial Advisor for Wedbush’s Independent Franchise Owner Network (IFON). Having entered the industry at just 23 years old, he has spent more than three decades building lasting relationships and delivering customized portfolio management solutions tailored to each client's unique goals. Steve believes every client deserves a personalized approach grounded in trust, transparency, and consistent communication.

Steve’s experience spans many aspects of account management, from opening and structing accounts to actively managing investment portfolios. He works closely with families, individuals, and multi-generational households, including third-generation client relationships. Prior to joining Wedbush, Steve served as First Vice President, Investments at Stifel Financial Crop. He previously spent more than 15 years as First Vice President, Investments and Senior PIM Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors. He began his career at Smith Barney, where he served as First Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager.

Steve graduated from USC’s Marshall School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Steve is the proud father of four daughters, including twin daughters currently attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Outside the office, he is an accomplished endurance athlete who has completed nearly 30 marathons, multiple 50K races, and a 100-mile ultramarathon. Today he channels that same discipline and dedication into daily yoga practice and is a certified yoga instructor.
