Barry Simon

Biography

Thank you for visiting my web site. I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After attending the University of Oregon and graduating from Portland State University, majoring in business and psychology, I moved to California, currently residing in Santa Monica. The events of the 60’s and 70’s (assassinations, war, poverty, etc) moved me to want to make a difference, to improve the quality of life for all people. To that end, I began a career in financial services in 1983 with Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley) to assist my clients in achieving their financial goals. I left Morgan Stanley in 1997 to join Wedbush Securities, Inc as an Independent Investment Consultant. It is an honor and a privilege to assist my clients in fulfilling their financial goals and objectives. I greatly appreciate the loyalty of clients that have been with me for years as well as new clients via referrals, seminars and my volunteer work in the community. In my free time, I am a Vice President and Member of the Board of the United Nations Association of the USA, Southern California. In addition, I enjoy golf, yoga, bicycling and various personal development seminars.
