Andrew D. Filipek

At San Francisco Brokerage Company (“SFBC”) we help clients understand their individual risk profiles and how to effectively plan for their financial goals. Andrew D. Filipek serves as President of SFBC, an independent branch of Wedbush Securities. He has spent the past 25-plus years building strong personal relationships with his retail and institutional clients, resulting in more education around financial strategies.

Andrew founded SFBC in 2002, the independent OSJ in San Francisco and managed the office of 10 brokers. In 2008 Andrew joined Wedbush Securities with the acquisition of one of its independent offices, Terra Linda Financial in San Rafael, folding it into SFBC. Prior to Wedbush and SFBC, he was associated with the Baraban Securities, Inc., Heritage Group, Thomas White & Co, Acument Securities and First Discount Brokerage.

Andrew also serves as President and Deputy Chairman of Wedbush Europe SP z.o.o., the European subsidiary of Wedbush Capital, established with Edward W. Wedbush in 2010 as the first foreign subsidiary of Wedbush Capital. Andrew was instrumental in organizing the first Global Life Science and Energy Conference in Warsaw on the floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and assisted in listing three U.S. companies on the exchange.
