Because he views business as an extension of human character, David holds each client’s values, needs and goals as unique. His business philosophy stems from understanding, as he believes that his role as an advisor is to help clients navigate their personal opportunities, changes and challenges and create a strategic wealth plan that reflects what is important to them.

With an extensive 30+ year background in finance, David is part of the ever-growing Pasadena office. Prior to joining Wedbush in 2022, David served as Senior Vice President at Hilltop Securities, where he was an active member of Hilltop Securities’ Leadership Council. He spent 12 years with M.L. Stern as Vice President and head of their Retirement Department. When the firm merged with Southwest Securities in 2008, David served seven years as Senior Vice President and was a member of their President’s Council. He also worked for T. Rowe Price for four years in their Retirement Plans Group to start off his financial career. His experience with retirees from a wide array of professions and careers provides David with a rare ability to find solutions to protect, provide and transfer wealth efficiently. Further, David brings with him knowledge of retirement plans and planning a study that allows him to achieve expertise in tax-qualified accounts such as 401ks, IRAs, and profit-sharing plans.

David is originally from Huntsville, Alabama, but currently splits his time between his two favorite places in the United States: Los Angeles and Las Vegas. His Alabama roots shaped him into an avid SEC football fan, while his 30 years in Southern California did much to establish a foundation for his financial career. In Las Vegas, he is an active board member of the GiveNV Charitable Foundation, focusing on helping the local community, and enjoys the active lifestyle that both Las Vegas and Los Angeles provide.

Working with her clients to help develop strategic short, medium, and long-term investment plans is at the heart of Jazmin Gabriela Carpenter’s advisement approach. Strong relationships are often defined by shared beliefs. When it comes to advising her clients on one of the most important areas of their life - their family’s financial security – it is important they know the core values and beliefs that define their advisor’s practice.

Jazmin was born in one of the poorest areas of Mexico City, Mexico. As a teen, she came to the United States and by the time she graduated High School, Jazmin was a vocal leader in her community and school. She began her career in financial services, at Smith Barney, shortly after graduating, while attending Community College at night.

Her strong work ethic and desire to help clients realize their financial goals, was the determination she needed to work her way up to being a financial advisor. Jazmin has a firm grasp on every aspect of the front and back office, having started her career in operations before becoming a Registered Client Services Associate, then a Sales Assistant. It is in each of these roles that opened up new doors and opportunity for Jazmin.

It was only when her mentor retired that she took the leap to take on the role of Financial Advisor. Her more than a decade in operations, client services and sales give her a distinct advantage in working with client portfolios, including high net-worth individuals and families.

Active in her community, Jazmin is a regular volunteer at a local homeless shelter, donates time and money to the animal humane society and serves on the School Site Council for her local high school. She and her husband, Robert, have two daughters and make their home in Eagle Rock, California.
